Saturday the 10
nice day and the
sun shining. Horses
not feeding, gets the boat
rolling through the night
can’t walk the deck has
got to hold by the stanchion
st the horse head
 Sunday the 11
raining and the boat
keeps rolling don’t feel
like eating, the horses
is the same, a steam
boat a little ahead of
us, we passed and
lost sight her, not as c
cold as when we
came the other way.

Stanchion is a sturdy upright fixture that provides support for some other object
